Re: (ASCEND) Two-four BRI router recommendation?



I'm testing out a new box from 3Com right now - the SuperStack II RAS 1500.
If I could get this box with Ascend's software (yes, Ascend's) I would be
very happy.

Like you, for my needs an 1800 is overkill (both in capacity and price)
and a 200 just doesn't float my boat (no digital modem support).

I know a lot of the folks on this list are ISPs with very different needs
than mine but as an enterprise user of a MAX 2012 providing digital/analog
dialin/dialout access I could not be more pleased.  It has done all that
we needed (and then some) flawlessly.

I only wish Ascend would make a box that supported 2-4 BRI's, digital modems,
and would price it about like the RAS 1500.  I could use a handful of such
a box.
