(ASCEND) Max answering with second IP address...

Hello,

For some reason, I have a Max with two IP addresses, as this is now possible
with Ascend code.

My question is : why is my Max from time to time answering with the secondary
IP adress when I'm traceroute'ing it on the public one ?
Is this a feture ? a bug ? a mistake in my configuration ?
I'm running fek.m40, release 6.1.3.
