(ASCEND) pipeline 130 + T1

I am having some problems with a p130 here is the story:
I went out to a customer site to hook up a T1. I found that they had a
pipe 130 with a frame interfaces as well as a bri interface. Fine I
thought it should be easy enough. Going through much documentation I
took the unit back to the office. I looked over some more doco and was
a little lost. So, I jacked a config to our only other customer who
uses a p130 for the purpose of a T1 connection. I copied the configs
verbatim except for a couple of key areas (dlci and ip's to be precise).
I was perplexed to find that the pipe was not pushing any frames. So, I
then proceeeded to call the friendly tech's over at uswest and have them
loop the csu/dsu. The first couple of tests the csu would not let go.
Then the third test worked fine. The tech who did not have much
background with the 130 suggested a config error since he still was not
seeing any frames being pushed out of the connection. I have all of the
standard configs set up correctly and am left with not much to go on. I
have shot out an email to support at ascend. I have not heard from them
in a few days and would really appreciate comments and suggestions based
upon the little bit of information that I have given you. I really
appreciate it. :)
