The secret is to get the server to support BACP too. 

On the P75 you set the parameter:

Ethernet/Answer/PPP options/BACP=YES.

and then set encaps to MP, BACP=yes in the encaps options.

One new trick too, is to ensure that the parameter:

connections/profile/session-options/dba-monitor=transmit-recv

by toggling the encaps to MPP, setting this, and then toggling
back to MP/BACP. There is a TR covering this parameter's omission
in the MP/BACP configuration.
