(ASCEND) Forcing an IP address
Hi all,
Here is this week's "My Max is acting up" message:
Maybe you encountered this one already...
I have a linuxbox with an ethernet card and a modem.
The ethernet card as the local address 192.168.0.1.
The linuxbox connects to the max using a 28.8 modem.
The max will not give the linuxbox an IP from it's pool,
It will leave the linuxbox with the IP number of the
ethernet card (192.168.0.1), not with of of the pool.
I've tried but I can't force it with Framed-Address, it
gives me an error 101 and disconnects the call.
On the linuxbox, I tryied the 0.0.0.0:0.0.0.0 option, no
success.
I had the exact same problem with a Pipeline, it wasn't
considered as a problem since that was the way I wanted
it to work.
How can I get around that problem ?
