We upgraded our MAX 4004 from 6.1.7 to 7.0.4 last night. After
performing the upgrade, we noticed some users who previously connected
at v.90 data rates were now connecting at v.34 data rates. To verify
this, we dialed in using a Hayes v.90 modem which we consistently
connected at 48000bps in the past. Every attempt to connect with the
Hayes modem resulted in a 26400bps connection. However, we do see some
users connecting at v.90 data rates. Is anyone else seeing this?

We thought 7.0.4 with its newer Rockwell code 2.098 would perform better
with the LT chip set based modems. Oh, well...
