Re: (ASCEND) MAX 4004 and 7.0.4




As I posted earlier, I am also seeing bad things from 7.0.4.  I am going
back to 6.1.24 ASAP.  We had way too many people break to be acceptable. 
Unfortunately, I don't have any info on what kind of modems were affected. 
Users and tech support folks were not happy.

Our failures were not about degraded speed -- the modems simply would no
longer connect to our 56K cards.  56K calls to our V.34 cards completed at
V.34, as you would expect.
