(ASCEND) V.90 or Kflex

I was just wondering what the consensus is on turning V.90 on in max
40xx/60xx boxes is.

We currently have code 7.0.1 and MDM Modulation=V.90. Does most leave it
on and just tell people to turn it off on their end if they have problems,
or do they try to stay stable right now and leave it off?
Wondering if it's hindering connections more than it's helping.
