I've seen saturated ISDN lines cause extremely slow throughput and loss. I
imagine that the same occurs with any link. You can only stuff so much
through a pipe of a given size.

One could say they need a bigger pipe...

If I discovered that my ISP was running a saturated 256k ISDN line...
they'd be my ISP no more.

Try toggling LQM. Be sure the settings are the same at each end.
