This statement is true - but I find the AS5800 lacking.  I really expected
a better solution from Cisco than the AS5800+7200 stack, and the capacity
of the AS5800 is LOW compared to products like the CVX-1800, PM-4, or even
AssuredAccess X1600.  It can only scale effectively to 2 T3 circuits - I
was told that point blank by a Cisco rep.  It can take 3 physically, but
it is not encouraged.  It just seems like a rushed solution, and they could
have done so much better.  It doesn't have the growth potential the other
products have with their larger backplanes, integrated designs, etc.

Yes, Cisco is primarily using the MICA now.
