Re: (ASCEND) How many HDLC processors does a Max 4004 have?



Hello,

From my own experience, you really can handle 64 ISDN calls on a Max 4xxx
before being forced to add an HDLC card.
But,  this counts only for ISDN calls (Data bearer type). Analog calls
(modem ones) are treated by modem cards and don't use any HDLC resources.

Please also note that you can only put ONE HDLC card in a Max 4xxx...
