(ASCEND) Stacking Question

I have been waiting 6 days for a response from ascend support for what I
feel is a simple question.  I am preparing to sell my bosses on stacking our
TNTs in our larger markets, they want assurances that if the controller on
the master goes out the slave will continue to run.  Right now we run
different numbers into different boxes, which provides zero redundancy, they
want to mix the pri's between the boxes but that could very well kill the mp
and mpp connections we currently support depending on the load.  I
understand that stacking resolves this, and from what I remember when I was
originally working with one of their engineers stacking was the reason we
upgraded all of our controller cards to rev N (we have some really old
TNTs).  I am sure that some of you are running their TNTs stacked already,
and I will probably receive an answer from the list before support calls me
back again.  Insight and information is greatly appreciated.
