You all are lucky.. I have a Max4000 her running 5.0Ap48 :( If I upgrade to
ANYTHING above this the machine runs REALLY slowly. (tried nearly ever
version
above this)

I have 2*E1 (R2 for Dialin) and 1*E1 (6 Groups (64/64/128/512 etc) stacked
wideband with total of 896K and the machine slows down to a crawl.
(ping times go really high/accessing it via the console is really slow
for periods (1-2 mins fast(working properly), 1-2 mins slow.

Ascend have not been able to help us on this and basically say at the moment
the Max4000 is underpowered and we would have to goto a Max6000 :(

I guess the 6+ software is a big burden on the machine

The 5.0 software is working perfectly except it don't allow V90 connections
If there was a 5.0 release with V90 (other than K56flex) I would be happy.
