(ASCEND) tbixkh.m60 v.8.0.1 Quiescenting problems

Hi,
I've recently tried v.8.0.1 tbixkh on my max6000.  It's a fresh install, I
didn't want to take any chances with a corrupted config.
Everything seems to be ok except when I try to change the PRI from Trunk to
Quiesced.  This used to work on the same hardware, same cabling, same
everything except for the firmware version.  I'm in the same building as the
NOC so my Front End is DSX, the switch type is NTI, ESF B8ZS and the clock
source is set to Yes.  The telco told me I'm connected to a DMS-500.

The symptons are this:

Step 1:
1st Line=Trunk
2nd Line=Quiesced
-Nothing happens to either PRI on the Net/T1 slot, this was confirmed by the
telco.

Step 2:
1st Line=Quiesced
2nd Line=Trunk
-Both PRIs on the Net/T1 slot go busy, the 1st Line goes all 'm' and then
slowly goes 'o', the 2nd Line goes all 'o' right away, again this was
confirmed by the telco.
-Playing with the 2nd Line, ie. changing it from Trunk to Quiesced doesn't
do anything.

Case 3:
1st Line=Trunk
2nd Line=Trunk
- the 2nd Line goes idle right away but the 1st Line goes all 'm' and then
slowly goes idle, '-'.

Other than this really annoying bug, the max6000 seems to operate ok.
Does anyone know why the heck the max600 is doing this?!?
