Crossfire sounds file

I didn't get many answers to my question, so here it is again:
   Do you have any suggestions about the "sounds" file format?

It's not very practical to have to change it each time a new spell is added.
I'm sure that the file format could be improved.  It was a quick hack at the
time I wrote it.  Maybe you have better ideas?

BTW, if you have good sounds (*.au) that could be used with CrossFire, please
tell me.
