CF: Proposal for development archetypes.

I propose we do a merge of the current work-in-progress archetypes into
the latest CF release to create a development version of the archetypes.
The basic idea is to have a standalone archive as a testing ground for
new archetypes, without needing to playtest it as much as a 'release'
version. It would also ease the extract-download-merge cycle at new
releases. I'd appreciate comments :).

Proposed statement of purpose:

The development archives of archetypes should include such archetypes
that need playtesting, are of an experimental nature, are used in other
distributed maps, or simply are new. The development archives should
further be a superset of the latest 'stable' release, and preferably be
usable with the latest 'stable' maps, except in such cases where they
are incompatible, in which case fixed maps should also be merged into the
development maps archive (as far as possible).

The development archetypes should not contain such archetypes that have
to have source patches to work. In those cases, the source patches should
be merged into the development sources first. If the archetypes merely
should have source patches (but they will still work without them) they
can still be merged. The archive should also state what version of the
source code is needed to support the archive.

The development archetypes archive should also contain editor maps
including the updates.
