: Do you have a url?

I've never used setmixer, and I don't really care for RPMs, so
I can't help you there. I do, however, have a few other ones to
recommend; 'mix', a command-line based mixer, works well
(especially in scripts), and Xmmix, an X-based
statically-linked-with-Motif mixer, works pretty good too.

I think I got most of them from sunsite, but I'm not quite sure
where. I've got all the ones I've used / tried in
ftp://ftp.jellyd.org/pub/Linux/sound/mixers .

You can get the newest version of Xmmix at
http://metalab.unc.edu/tkan/xmmix/ .

HTH.
