Here's irony for ya: I went to school at Moorhead State University for my
undergrad.  I grew up in the area too.  I didn't hear about Linux until I
moved to the Twin Cities area.  Then I learned about Slackware and Pat
Volkerding.  Now wait a minute.. didn't I go to school with Pat?  Yup.
Now I know why the heck he was always running cc1 (always saw it in the
system process list - never knew what the heck he was doing though).

Now don't I feel connected.  :+)

On a semi-side note, Slackware originated in the Fargo, ND and Moorhead,
MN area, so there might be a bit of a bias around the region..
