Re: [TCLUG:7575] More Multia stuff...



The IDE option isn't allways the greatest idea.. I've never booted an
alpha with IDE.. I don't know now well it's supported on the multia.. you
are correct about the power thing.. that's why i allways suggest an
external drive.. even an internal drive can use too much power.. the
internal powersupply is only 75W.. and if i remeber correctly, 26W is used
just by the CPU.  if you can spare the room.. an external 3.5" scsi drive
is the best way to go..
