        apply common sense. :) that's pretty much how I learned everything I
know about Microsoft products. never had a whit of training on any of them;
aside from a few friends who showed me some 'advanced' tricks. (usually
never even read the manual or the help pages).
        MS's web site probably has some usable info; I never was able to
find much good general instructions, tho.

        the thing you have to give MS's products credit for, is that they
are reasonably easy to get a basic setup *working*; mostly by applying
common sense, a bit of experimentation, and 'doing what looks right'.
*working well*, or working in a way that differs from what the developers
anticipated; is nearly impossible. :(
