RE: [TCLUG-JOBS:21] Temp agencies

I agree with everything everyone has said - neither of these companies are
really good for temp/contractor pc tech work. In the long run, no temp
agency/full time contracting firm is good for PC Tech work, especially if
you are looking for a "sweet" job (BOFH type setups).

Since you seem to be set on jumping into the workplace, as for
recommendations, if you are a developer type, try going to TKI
(Minnetonka/Wayzata). If you're just a general all-around computer whiz, try
Tek Systems (in Edina).

The nice thing about doing a stint as a temp/contractor is you get a LOT of
varied experience, and don't have to put up with a shitty job - you just
change as needed. I spent five years/15+ positions doing this, and converted
to my first permanent position six months ago after finding a BOFH-class
"sweet" job.

Subject: [TCLUG-JOBS:21] Temp agencies

Alright, I'm looking at temp agencies. Anyone have any experience with
Interim or Dolphin Staffing as far as getting PC tech work? Or can
recommend any other places...
