I'm not so sure it's broken.  I searched around for what should be the
appropriate default behavior but I can't seem to track it down.  Anywho,
what I discovered with a bit of playing around is that a plain vanilla ps
returns all the processes by the current user that are running from
the current terminal.

Ummm... Is this wrong?
