Re: FW: [TCLUG:6307] thanks

You are correct Bob, that message was sent from Outlook. This one,
however, is being sent from Netscape Version 4.07 running on a RedHat
5.2 system upgraded to kernel 2.2.9. I will refrain from turning HTML
on because I am NOT trying to piss anyone off. I have been
playing/working with Linux since Kernel 1.09 or so, and have learned a
lot using it. I also use Microsoft products at home and at work. Each
platform has its strengths and weaknesses. Both have their place in the
scheme of things. I joined TCLUG and this mailing list to continue
learning about Linux and for the most part have been successful. IMHO
if the purpose of this list is the promotion of Linux and lending a
helping hand to others, then Microsoft bashing has no place here. All
that MS bashing will do is drive away the people we are trying to
attract before they even give Linux a real try. The knee jerk reaction
of "that dummy sent a message in HTML, must be a stupid MS user" is
going to drive away a lot of people that could potentially benefit the
group.

IMHO.
