2.2.10 Kernel Patch

In applying the 2.2.10 patch to the 2.2.9 sources, I get the
followinmg error:

 **** malformed patch at line 1764: \ No newline at end of file

Indeed, the patchfile I downloaded looks like between lines 1763 -
1765.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about valid syntax for
patchfiles. Can anyone suggest a remedy (other than download the full
2.2.10 sources)?
