You don't need to be root if you have the 3dfx.o kernel module..

BTW, I forgot to hook up the pass-thru cable the first time I played..  Couldn't
figure out why nothing was happening (duh..)

One of those days, I guess..

Now I gotta go walk around and get my eyes used to reality again ;-)
