I think this changed since I was researching to sign up. Though I was
looking at the main www.mediaone.com page, didn't learn of
mn.mediaone.net until after signup...

Hmmm. I couldn't resist, I popped mine open shortly after I got it. ;)
Didn't see anything recognisable as a common CPU, IIRC all the larger
ones were GI chips. (They don't make CPUs far as I know...) though it
obviously has to be some kind of embedded system... Whats with waiting
for that red light on powerup, is it booting Linux off a compressed
flash or something? ;) Maybe QNX or something like that...

Now that I think of it, I don't think I've ever tried queso on it...

Considering my current 1way tops out at about 40k/sec these days on most
servers (with horrible packet loss, especially at prime hours. So much
for playing UT... :P) that would be an improvement. I was hitting
300k/sec on fast servers, and at worst 60k/sec when I first got it...

Damn shared networks...
