Redhat 6.0 Sparc Linux buggy?

Can someone confirm that Redhat 6.0 Sparc Linux has a buggy compiler?

Someone on the list said to go with 5.2, because 6.0 is buggy. I am starting
to thing they are right, several SRPMS that work fine on Intel crash on Sparc.
