Hey about the static host names.  There is a 100% free service from
www.dhis.org , you'll get a free hostname in the form of name.dhis.org.  I
ran this on Linux last year without a problem.  Also, a company of mine just
did a free Windows port if anyone is interested the Windows port is at
www.dragonmount.net and like I said before the Linux/BSD versions are at
www.dhis.org.
