[Way Offtopic (sorry)] fscking decibels!

Does anyone have a decibel meter (i.e., a tool to measure how loud
things are) that I could borrow? If I have my window open, I am
awakened at all hours of the night by passing diesel trucks, planes, and
cars of college students that have undersized mufflers and catalytic
converters. Now, maybe I should just give in on this, as I am in the
middle of a large city, but I'm also right across the street from a
hospital..

I'd just like to see exactly how loud this stuff is that interrupts my
sleep all of the time...

Sorry for being so off-topic..
