I could have sworn that there was a specific IDE configuration that caused
this message...  I remember seeing one of those "if you get this, then do
this" notes on one of the kernel options... (for IDE resets like this)

Of course now that I look for it I don't see it...  If it's not the kernel
option, then it's probably bad hardware.
