Thanks John That information helped greatly.
I am now getting closer.  I actually had removed the harddrive setup from
bios so it said none.
I reset the cdrive up in bios and now it runs through to the point just
before getting into Linux where it says "LI"  and just hangs there?

I think that last line is supposed to read "LILO" or something like that...

Thanks again for your help.... Worst case is I do another complete install.
