Buy the SB Live! instead - at least with that, the drivers are
open source.  Aureal has closed sourced drivers with a C
wrapper.  Not good.

Just a general FYI. Aureal released version 1.0.5 of their Linux
drivers. For me, this is a major improvment, cause they're working! Yay.
If anyone is interested PC Adventures (Off Bass Lake Road in Crystal) is
selling Vortex2 OEM boards for $59. I think it's $49 for SB Live! Value
OEM.
