I installed the Device3Dfx (source) package from linux.3dfx.com and /dev/3dfx
exists on my system with permissions 0666. debian.org's package lists for
unstable mention a dev3dfx package (read: the Voodoo3 version of libglide2
has a dependency on it), but the package is not available through Debian.

So much for this being quick and easy...
Where would pics/colormap.pcx be, anyhow? I can't find a pics directory in
/usr/local/games/quake2 or any of its children.
