Without significant preparation (i.e., every participant spending enough time
going over the code to be capable of working on it on their own before the
event), that someone would be very busy just running around explaining code
to the other people present.  And if that advance prep is done, then there's
a lot less need to get together for it.

I agree that it's a cool idea, I'm just not sure how much of a point there is
to it.
