 I believe that's correct.  I do know that the U's station, (KUOM 770)
claims to broadcast stereo AM, but I've never owned a stereo that actually
handled it.  It's sort of a "that's great, but why bother" technology -- 90%
of AM stations these days are talk radio anyways...
