The new case is for me, I want to add a SCSI CD-ROM and CD-R and don't
have room. I get a full tower and a faster processor, she gets the
leftovers: case, K6-2 300, 24x CD-ROM, NE2K NIC, AWE64, modem, and what
ever else I find. Even convinced her to try Linux. (Something about
being a college student and getting all the software you need free...) 

Granted Linux probally run the USB camaras, but I can live with that.
Anything will be an improvment over the Packard Smell 486.
