doh, somehow i missed the 'directory' part, and thought you were just
talking about exporting the display, not nfs, my bad.  but this brings up a
question, how well would apps run over nfs?  i have little experiance with
running apps over nfs, but have heard of problems, particualarly with the
locking of files and speed.
