I have just commited some changes before going on vacation. I will not
be able to answer any email until I return. But, I believe that these
changes have been tested enough to be used for the summer INL season.
For INL games, LTD_STATS and LTD_PER_RACE must be enabled to get the
per-ship per-race statistics. For a sample of the output, see the
file http://pickled.fox.cs.cmu.edu/netrek/results/beta-server/ltd_dump.txt.
For now, no statistics are printed for players who have less than 10 ticks
(1 full second of total playing time). This should make any stat parsing
easier to do. I have also included some interesting SB stats.
The pickled test server (1111/2222/3333/4444) is running this new code.
James, I have no further pending code to commit, at least not for the next
few weeks.
>From the ChangeLog:
Fri Jun 25 17:58:46 1999 Dave Ahn <ahn@netrek.org>
* FEATURE (LTD_STATS): Added code to split the stats further for
each race per player so that the results can be easily parsed for
clue games. Enable LTD_PER_RACE in config.h. Added SB stats
dump for tools/ltd_dump.
* CONFIG (config.h.in): REVERSED_HOSTNAMES is now defined by
default. UDP_PORTSWAP code seems to break UDP->TCP->UDP
renegotiation, so it is now undefined by default, until this bug
is fixed.
* BUGFIX (crypt): Added char * casts so that crypt doesn't give
warnings during compile on machines without a prototype in
unistd.h.
