Seems legitimate, and the cut-off date is fast approaching.

I've handled the http://vanilla.us.netrek.org/ pages, as I've already
handled my own web site at http://quozl.us.netrek.org/, but the owners
of the other sites might like to check out how I did it ...

Used esr's gif2png package, from http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/gif2png/ to
process each directory in turn.  It did all the conversions and updated
the HTML files.  Had to get involved if (a) a transparent GIF was in
use, or (b) a subdirectory contained HTML.  Learned to cd to the
subdirectory and re-run the web2png script.
