Unfortunately png is not well supported by most browsers.

For instance, you're going to have to redo your links on the gum page.  You
can't just link to a .png file because IE doesn't understand it.

You'll need to embed the .png as an image within an HTML page, as you do in
the top level gum page.

I'm not sure about Netscape, and what problems it has.


 I would think that jpeg would be a better choice than png.  Although I
realize that jpeg works better for pictures than it does for graphics due to
it's lossy compression nature.
