You can use the Ans #1 number under each modem card entry.

For instance, let's say on your four trunks, the pilots are 123 4567,
4568, 4569, and 4570. You request the phone company to send you the last
digit of the dialed number.

Then, under each modem card, you configure in the "Ans #1" slot the last
digit of the trunk you want to answer the call - ie. the card with Ans #1
= 7 will answer calls for 123 4567.

The Max answers calls as ISDN if you use call-routing and don't specify a
default (this is the case with R2), otherwise of course it answers
adapatively.

We use this method for Maxes with three trunks - two R2 and one ISDN. I
get our switching guys to send me two digits from the exchange, configure
those in the Ans #1 profile on each modem, and leave the rest as default.

That way, the ISDN trunk can take only data calls and my customers don't
have to compete will modem calls on the other two trunks. I get the best
use of the chassis as well without needing a dedicated box.
