NT would only accept the connection of the FTP server is running - mine for
example refuses it in my standard configuration. (I have the Chameleon suite
installed to support all this).

An informational RFC - like we did with MP+. It was not standards track, and
therefore not on the recommended list. It is documented so that anyone who
wants to implement it can - makes it a little "less proprietary" ;)
