I doubt that. Just because it's the competition doesn't mean
they can't match or surpass you. That's one of the first rules of the
road. It's not a joke to compare them, especially when it's my job to do
that. You might not like it, you might not even care, but I am the
customer. Make me happy or you make me leave. What is a joke is your
comment that it's a joke to compare. Either you don't know anything about
customer service or you chose to ignore it.

The Ascend Maxen series have a fair amount of bugs too that may
or may not affect me. I'm not looking for the highest end Cisco. I'm
looking for something that compares. And the Cisco router they had me
look at was comparable to the GRF and about $20K less. I can assure you
that we looked at that with more than just a raised eyebrow.

No, I wasn't. And you know what's odd, it wasn't even a Cisco
rep that compared the differences. It was someone wanting us to buy
bandwidth. They resell Ascend equipment and they resell Cisco. Eeks! I
guess that says something, doesn't it?

If I had answered a customer of mine like you just did, I rather
think that I'd be fired just now. Think before you speak. You make a
much more grandious impression when you do. Food for thought.
