Do you have GTE customers? The MAXi uses Bearer Service to discriminate between Data Bearer and Voice Bearer on the same incoming Directory Number. This assumes that all VBS calls are for the modem, and denies DOVBS to those folks who want it. In Califunny, that seems to mean GTE customers. To provide DOVBS, you need a Multiple Subscriber Number, i.e. a 2nd phone number. Such is usually cheap or free depending on your tariffs. -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433 ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

References:

(ASCEND) Pri for ISDN and Analog

From: Bennie Warren <bennie@lemoorenet.com>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Quake/QW and Pipeline 75 and NAT

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Quake/QW and Pipeline 75 and NAT

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) Pri for ISDN and Analog

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) Pri for ISDN and Analog

Index(es):

Main

Thread
