RE: (ASCEND) Configuring Max 4048 for NON-PRI T1

Tim, here is how I have my 4048's configured for CT1. Also, deep in the
Ascend documentation, there is a statement that when using Channelized
T-1's, the Telco cannot send any digits or the call will fail. If the Telco
is sending digits, then please ask them to turn that feature off.

Probably what you are seeing is that you make a call into the MAX, see a
channel answer then immediately get a busy signal. This is most likely a
case of the Telco sending digits to the max.

Sig Mode=Inband
NFAS ID num=N/A
Rob Ctl=Inc-W-200
Switch Type=N/A
Framing Mode=D4
Encoding=AMI

Ch 1=Switched
Ch 1 #=
Ch 1 Slot=3
Ch 1 Prt/Grp=0
Ch 1 TrnkGrp=N/A
and so on
