RE: (ASCEND) How Ascend should fix thier software problem
We are running 5.0p48 for the last year and 1/2 with no problems.. upgrading
to 6 and 7 makes the machine run really really slowly in peaks (5 mins of
normal usuage and then 1 min of slowness).. Ascend have told me its
something to do with the network traffic on my network.. but I don't know
where at all :( tcpdump gives no suggestions on what and there is no packet
collisions at all..
So have have to stick with 5.0p48 until I can find out what machine is
causing the
problems.. (argh) or they figure out what they chnaged in 6 and 7 to break
the
networking software
