(ASCEND) Pipeline 50 as lan host

I have a customer who wants to use a pipeline 50 on his network as a host
for a dial-in ISDN line from a 3com ISDN LAN Modem

The network at the customers site is 207.XXX.YYY.ZZZ and we feed his
Internet access via a router at 207.XXX.YYY.1

He wants to put the PIPELINE 50 at 207.XXX.YYY.8 and have a remote network
access the pipeline via ISDN.

Is this a reasonable scenario? Does he need any static routes?
