(ASCEND) No ping to Maxes using NT workstation

If I dial into one of my three max boxes from an NT workstation, I can not ping the other two max boxes (only the one I am dialed into). If I dial in from a Win95 workstation I don't have this problem. Any one know the reason for this. This is preventing me from using Maxstat on an NT workstation I loaded it onto.
