Jim,
I don't know why your max would start spitting out diffrent tones unless
you upgraded the software/firmware or something changed with your PRI
provider. What I would suggest at least for the time being is to have
your customers place three commas after the phone number. This seems to
fix troublesome modems in general, and I assume would help with your
problem as well. I've seen modems, especially USR Robotics, that have
trouble connecting to my Max unless I place those commas after the phone
number in DUN. I've seen other USR Robotics that work just fine. Anyone
want to comment on other modems they've found to hiccup on the Ascend
tones?
