(ASCEND) Problem with pipeline 130 ISDN
I have a Pipeline 130 that just started having problems dialing out on the
2nd ISDN channel. (The unit is configured with 2 connections, one for each of
the B channels.) When hung up or reset the unit will dialout normally on the
first channel but won't even attempt dialing out on the 2nd. If I go to the
terminal server prompt and run "test <number>", I get this error: "Error:
can't handshake". A "show isdn" will give back the following:
NL: CALL REQUEST: 56K, #2125551234
NL: CALL CONNECTED B2 #2125551234
NL: CLEAR REQUEST: B2
NL: CALL CLEARED WITH CAUSE: 16 B2 #2125551234
One peculiar thing about this is that the line is attempting to connect at 56k
when the configuration for this connection is set to 64k.
I also have this in the log on the log server:
Mar 27 10:00:21 <hostname> ASCEND: slot 2 port 2, Outgoing Call, <number>
[MBID 4] Mar 27 10:00:24 <hostname> ASCEND: slot 2 port 2, line 1, channel
2, Call Connected, MBID 004 [MBID 4] Mar 27 10:00:24 <hostname> ASCEND: call
4 OR slot 2 port 2 56K <number> Mar 27 10:00:45 <hostname> ASCEND: slot 2
port 2, Call Terminated [MBID 4] Mar 27 10:00:45 <hostname> ASCEND: call 4 CL
0K c=2 p=2
Software is version 6.0.0
I can privide more info if needed. Any help or pointers for troubleshooting
this problem will be appreciated.
Thanks much,
Jeff
